THE WORKING MEN'S CLUB

Here you will find all the information that you will need to know about the club itself. You may find some duplicates here from the "About us" page but I'm sure it has to be better to have more than enough info rather than not enough. I want people to be able to find the info they're looking for as soon as possible.

The North Leeds Working Men's Club is located at:

101 Lincoln Green Road, Leeds LS9 7SR (Map can be found on the About us page).

There is enough secure off road parking for both club members and visitors.

Easy wheelchair access which means the club is ideal for wheelchair users and other disabled members.

The venue is quiet, smoke free with a generous amount of space that potentially allows for more than 3 league matches (fifteen games) to be played at any one time.

Refreshments are available at the bar downstairs, these include, drinks, crisps and sandwiches.

We currently have enough equipment for 11 simultaneous games if required.

Juniors are also welcome at the club so if you are a parent of a chess enthusiast or a school wishing to expand, feel free to contact us. The match room upstairs is accessible without actually having to go through the bar.

"Chess is intellectual gymnastics." - Wilhelm Steinitz.
